(NOTE: The school should have the right to refuse whatever it wants. if the taxpayers don’t like its decision, that vote out the administrators. capitalism or not, “free market” does not mean the wealthiest and most well-connected should trump all others, at least not in America, which is supposedly a “Republic”. Until we remove the capitalist faux-free-market fools from congress, they will continue to make laws that allow those with the most money to rule the country. This has been a proven disaster, throughout history. Catch is, capitalist believe in short-term, make money now, ideology, so the long term effects don’t phase them, literally, they don’t care who lives or dies or suffers due to their decisions. This is why capitalism is evil, “Profits before People”, means just that; before any human’s life, any animal, the very earth we live on. I feel it is safe to say, if there were a Satan, conservative, capitalists are surely pure evil and mirror any image of Satan we may have in our minds.)

It appears to be a first in Australia. In a move that may earn them worried admiration in the Australian health and corporate communities, a small-city hospital near Sydney, New South Wales, is considering turning down a $66,000 donation from two of the community’s good citizens. Shellharbour Hospital would make good use of the money being offered to fund new equipment for its emergency department. The hospital has gratefully received similar contributions from Glenn and Katia Dwarte before.
The problem is the hospital is having second thoughts about the source of the money. The Dwartes run the nearby Warilla McDonald’s, and Shellharbour Hospital officials are concerned that accepting the money sends the wrong message about fast food. Turning down the money from these two respected and caring people will send a message that may encourage other health agencies and cause concern in some corporate sectors.
