The most dangerous people in the USA are Conservative Christians (CCs) usually part of the Republican Party, T-Party and many other movements that use the word ‘patriot’ in their name. These people are also generally white, are very big on “Second Amendment Remedies”, are anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-birth control, anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant (legal or illegal)…you get the picture.
I believe these people should be eliminated, just as much as they would like to see anyone else not like them to be eliminated. The difference is, generally, Americans want to live their lives and let everyone else lives theirs, but the CCs are in our public schools destroying science and the arts and the have infiltrated Congress where they have been able to, throughout history and even today, make certain groups of people second class citizens with less or no protections or rights that they themselves have.
First, I will present a description of what “Theocracy” means. Following that, I will present links to articles from the web, that support my belief of the dangers of CCs in the USA today and throughout history and the world. They are listed by the date they were made available to the public. If you want to go to an article, there is no need to ‘right click’ because a new window should open in your browser if it is just simply clicked, allowing you to stay here to find out more about the CCs.
All articles linked to contain some point of the negativity of CCs actions, from public school or politics, from anti-gay to anti-abortion, and everywhere in between. Also, these are articles covering America and CCs that are note-worthy in other countries. All titles are either the original title of the article or a snippet from the article itself. If I wanted to change anything, I make a (NOTE).
I especially like to present articles that show the hypocricy of CCs, for example, those most vocal about gays being evil are often found to be ‘closet-cases’ and the ones that attack Democrats for having affairs, are they themselves doing the same, like Newt Gingrich attacking President Bill Clinton.
Theocracy is a form of government in which a state is understood as governed by immediate divine guidance especially a state ruled by clergy, or by officials who are regarded as divinely guided.
From the perspective of the theocratic government, “God himself is recognized as the head” of the state, hence the term theocracy, from the Greek θεοκρατια “rule of God”, a term used by Josephus of the kingdoms of Israel and Judah.Theocratic governments enact theonomic laws (rules).
A theocracy may be monist in form, where the administrative hierarchy of the government is identical with the administrative hierarchy of the religion, or it may have two ‘arms,’ but with the state administrative hierarchy subordinate to the religious hierarchy.
Theocracy should be distinguished from other secular forms of government that have a state religion, or are merely influenced by theological or moral concepts, and monarchies held “By the Grace of God”.
“A government which claims to be immediately directed by God, and divinely blessed. The country tends to be intolerant either passively or overtly to faiths other than that recognized by the state. The country identifies itself and its laws within religion and religious doctrine. There is no legal separation between church and state, and citizens of other faiths are often excluded or hampered from participation or expelled. Because a theocracy is exclusionary, it can never be a democracy which requires inclusion without exception of all equally. It cannot be a republic because a republic requires the separation of church and state and equal rights to all.”
“a form of government in which god or a deity is recognized as the supreme civil ruler, the God’s or deity’s laws being interpreted by the ecclesiastical authorities.
“The single greatest threat to church-state separation in America is the movement known as the Religious Right. Organizations and leaders representing this religio-political crusade seek to impose a fundamentalist Christian viewpoint on all Americans through government action.”
God and Ceasar in America, Gary Hart, Talk To Action, November 29, 2005: The New American Theocracy requires judges who will go along and who will continue going along for the remainder of their lives. The ultimate goal is a Supreme Court philosophically attuned to the principles and purposes of those seeking a state that incorporates and promotes their religious beliefs.
“Those who would renegotiate the boundaries between church and state must therefore answer a difficult question: why would we trade a system that has served us so well for one that has served others so poorly?”
~ Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Conner on the Ten Commandments ruling, June 27, 2005
